Manitowoc police will ‘Stuff the Squad’ in food drive for local families at Pick ’N Save

People can contribute pre-packaged bags for $5 or $10, or their own selected non-perishable food items.

MANITOWOC – Manitowoc Police Department is stuffing a squad car full of food to help local families this holiday season.

From 8 a.m. to noon Dec. 14, the department will hold a “Stuff the Squad” food drive at Pick ’N Save, 3300 Calumet Ave., with a goal of filling a squad car with non-perishable food.

People can give to the cause by donating $5 or $10 pre-packaged grocery bags or taking selected non-perishable food items to help pack the squad car.

All donations will go to Peter’s Pantry and The Salvation Army to be distributed to local families.
