Our “Church Partner” program is a unique way for your church to uplift your police and their families. There are roughly 18,000 police departments and sheriff’s offices throughout America, and it is our mission to make sure every one of them is uplifted and cared for by at least one local church. Across our nation, there are around 300,000 local churches, many with a heart of gratitude and a desire to care for their police, but most just don’t know where to start.

That’s where we come in! We Love Police provides a turnkey program with a clear roadmap that is simple for churches to administer. Our training guide provides step-by-step instructions for your program coordinator to successfully implement this program with your local police. We understand that pastors already have a very full plate, so we recommend choosing a volunteer in your church to spearhead this initiative. Building relationships is key, and that all starts with a phone call to your local police department, “Hi, my name is _______ from (your church name/town) and we’ve partnered with a national non-profit, We Love Police, to uplift and express gratitude to our police officers. I’d like to speak with your Chief’s office to schedule a meeting and introduce myself.” When your church partners with We Love Police, it adds credibility.

Your church can start uplifting your local police within a few weeks of becoming an approved Church Partner. Church Partners are listed in our directory with a link to your website. You also receive permission to use our We Love Police “Church Partner” logo in print and on your website.

In addition to the training resources, our approved churches receive an annual supply of We Love Police branded “Thank You” cards. These provide both adults and kids a tangible way to express their gratitude to your police officers. Our guidelines recommend collecting, reviewing, and delivering “Thank You” cards to your police seasonally. Along with the cards, we encourage Church Partners to provide prepaid meal cards to your department. Last and definitely not least, your church commits to praying for your police and their families throughout the year. We encourage our churches to take the liberty of finding additional impactful ways to uplift your police officers and their families. Apply to become a Church Partner today and start uplifting your police.
